JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a Sr Environmental Counsel to support their customer in the Greater Tampa Bay area. This person will be responsible for providing counsel on federal environmental laws like the Endangered Species Act, the Clean Water Act, the National Environmental Policy Act and other state laws. They will advise and manage outside counsel and consultants, assist on permitting matters and counsel the business on EHS compliance under programs administered by the MHSA and OSHA.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. 10+ years of experience in environmental law in a law firm or corporate law department. Federal wetlands experience in permitting, Experience and knowledge working with federal environmental laws. MSHA and OSHA experience. Must be a member in good standing of a state bar.
